MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT RESTRICTED TO

/n

- Stock control for Kitchen operations

/n

- Quality control of meals being served to customers

/n

- Back of house rostering and staff management

/n

- Developing menu offerings in conjunction with management

/n

- Ensure kitchen meets all required health, safety and other regulations

/n

- Estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies

/n

- Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation

/n

- Discussing food preparation issues with Managers and other kitchen team members





/n

- Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures

/n

- Preparing and cooking food

/n

- Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations

/n

- May select and train other team members

/n

- Any other tasks deemed suitable by management

/n

EXPERIENCE

/n

- Previous chef/cook experience, Cert III/IV and 2 years work experience or at least 3 years relevant experience (ideal but not necessarily required)

/n

PERFORMANCE GOALS

/n

- To be defined with management on an ongoing basis

/n

- 7 Day operation

/n

- Morning shift, Afternoon shift, Day shift, Evening shift

/n

- Flexible hours

/n

- Rotating roster

/n

- Available positions for causal, part-time & full time
