We are seeking juniors to fill this role : that is those aged 14-17, who are high school students who are looking for just a few hours a week. Hours of work are on Saturday and Sunday only, from 12pm - 3pm. Casual basis.

Summary:

/n

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen by washing, cleaning and sanitizing kitchen dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other equipment.

/n

Responsibilities:

/n

/n

- Load, operate and unload the dishwasher properly

/n

- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using a dishwasher or by hand.

/n

- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.

/n

- Maintain kitchen inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels and anticipating needed supplies.

/n

- Place clean dishes and utensils in their designated storage areas.

/n

- Clean garbage cans and other kitchen equipment as required.

/n

- Assist kitchen staffs in simple food preparation tasks, such as portioning ingredients, peeling and slicing vegetables,



and other tasks as needed.

/n

- Follow all standards and protocols for hygiene and safety as set by the establishment.

/n

- Attend training and meetings as required.

/n

Qualifications:

/n

/n

- Ability to operate and maintain dishwashing equipment - training will be given if not.

/n

- Excellent time management and multitasking skills

/n

- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting

/n

- Ability to work flexible hours and holidays when necessary

/n

- Good communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team

/n

- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards

/n

- Ability to take instructions and ask questions when unsure

/n

- Understands professional work behaviours specifically regarding phone usage

/n

- Clean and honest, practices good personal hygiene
