Astra Apartments is seeking a reliable and experienced cleaner to join our team in Newcastle. This is a casual position offering consistent work for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality cleaning standards.

/nAbout the Role /n

You will be responsible for cleaning and preparing our furnished apartments to a high standard for incoming guests; and maintaining our apartments for long-term corporate guests.

/n

/n

This role is essential in ensuring a positive guest experience and maintaining the quality of our properties.

/nKey Responsibilities /n

/n

/n
/n

- Thorough cleaning of apartments, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, balconies, and living areas;

/n
/n

- Changing and making beds to a professional standard;

/n
/n

- Replenishing amenities, keeping stock of linen and cleaning supplies, and reporting any maintenance issues;

/n

- Ensuring apartments are presented to a high standard prior to guest arrival, and maintaining that standard for long-term in-house guests;

/n
/n

- Work efficiently to meet deadlines between guest check-outs and check-ins.

/n

/n

- Previous cleaning experience (hotel, serviced apartments, or similar preferred);

- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness;

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently;

- Ability to work flexible schedule, including on short-notice and on weekends, if required.
