About your new role

/n

/n

/n

/n

We’re looking for a Production & Distribution Assistant to join our Melbourne roastery team based in Reservoir, helping keep things running smoothly behind the scenes and our coffee making its way to customers across Australia.

/n

/n

/n

/n

Working across production, packing and distribution, you’ll be right in the middle of the action, preparing customer orders, keeping stock moving and lending a hand with the roasting process. It’s a hands-on role for someone who likes being on their feet, working alongside a great team and taking pride in getting things done well.

A day in the life

/n

/n

/n

/n

/n
/n

- Prepare and pack finished products ready to make their way to our customers

/n
/n

- Keep things moving on the packaging line, packing bagged coffee into boxes

/n
/n

- Check inbound deliveries and accurately count, record and report stock movements

/n
/n

- Lend a hand loading green coffee into the roasting process, including handling sacks and bulk bags

/n
/n

- Help keep the roastery tidy, organised and running smoothly

/n
/n

- Follow health, safety and manual handling procedures to keep yourself and the team safe

/n
/n

- Pitch in with the team wherever needed because no two days in the roastery are exactly the same

/n

/n

/n

/n

/n

/n

About you

/n

/n

/n

/n

If you’ve spent some time in warehousing, production or packaging, even better. An interest in specialty coffee definitely helps too. You’ll be someone who:

/n

/n

/n
/n

- Has experience in warehousing and/or packaging line operations





/n
/n

- Has a good eye for detail and takes pride in getting things right

/n
/n

- Is comfortable using basic computer programs, including Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheets

/n
/n

- Brings a positive, cooperative attitude and is always happy to pitch in

/n
/n

- Is able to safely lift and move loads of up to 18kg

/n
/n

- Is comfortable safely handling 60–70kg green coffee sacks using the appropriate equipment

/n
/n

- Has a strong focus on safety and looks out for the people around them

/n

/n

/n

/n

/n

/n

A valid driver’s licence and reliable transport are preferred, and a forklift licence and/or reach forklift experience is a bonus.

/n
