The Opportunity

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Foreman to join an established national contractor delivering a major new education development in Sydney's north.
This is a substantial, multi-faceted project incorporating modern teaching facilities, specialist learning spaces, recreational areas and associated infrastructure.

Working alongside an experienced Site Manager and well-resourced project team, you'll play a key role in coordinating site activities, managing subcontractors and maintaining programme, quality and safety standards.

The business has a strong pipeline of secured projects across NSW and offers the opportunity to build a long-term career rather than simply move from project to project.

Your Role
Reporting to the Site Manager,



you will be responsible for overseeing designated areas of construction and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing daily site operations and coordinating subcontractors across multiple trades.
- Driving short-term programmes, construction sequencing and site productivity.
- Coordinating structural, architectural, services and finishing trades as required.
- Identifying and resolving site issues before they impact programme or delivery.
- Monitoring workmanship, quality assurance and compliance with project specifications.
- Working collaboratively with the wider construction team to achieve key milestones.
- Maintaining a proactive approach to site safety and subcontractor performance.

About You
We're looking for an experienced Foreman who has developed their career with a reputable Tier 1 or Tier 2 commercial builder and understands the expectations of delivering major construction projects.

Ideally, you will bring:

- Proven experience as a Foreman on large-scale commercial construction projects.
- Experience across education, health, commercial or other complex building developments.
- Strong subcontractor coordination and programme management capabilities.
- The ability to manage multiple trades and construction interfaces.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to site delivery.
- Robust communication skills and the ability to work effectively within an established project team.
