We are working with an established fire protection and building compliance business seeking an experienced Fire Technician / Electrician to join their Gold Coast team.

This is a hands-on service role supporting commercial clients across an established portfolio of maintenance contracts. You'll be responsible for inspecting, testing, maintaining and fault-finding fire protection systems, helping ensure client sites remain compliant and operational.

The role would suit a qualified electrician with fire industry experience, or an experienced fire technician with strong electrical and fire alarm system knowledge.

The Role

- Service, test and maintain fire protection systems across commercial sites
- Fault-find and diagnose issues with fire alarm panels and associated equipment
- Carry out preventative maintenance and reactive service work
- Identify defects and complete minor repairs and rectification works
- Complete service reports, compliance documentation and maintenance records




- Build strong working relationships with clients and site contacts
- Manage your daily schedule while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety

About You

- Australian Electrical licence and/or relevant fire industry experience
- Experience servicing and maintaining commercial fire protection systems
- Confident with fault-finding, troubleshooting and identifying defects
- Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and fire compliance requirements
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach to client service
- Current driver's licence and a commitment to workplace safety
