Are you a passionate and dedicated Physiotherapist looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults?

We are seeking a motivated Aged Care Physiotherapist to join our team in North West Melbourne, just 20 minutes from Melbourne CBD.

This is an excellent opportunity to support older people to maintain their mobility, independence, strength, and quality of life in a residential aged care or community setting.
Key Responsibilities

- Conduct physiotherapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plans.
- Improve residents' mobility, balance, strength, and functional independence.
- Assess falls risk and implement falls prevention strategies.
- Provide rehabilitation following illness, injury, surgery, or hospital admission.
- Prescribe appropriate exercise programs and mobility aids.
- Collaborate with nurses, occupational therapists, GPs, care staff, residents, and families.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with professional and organisational standards.




- Contribute to multidisciplinary care planning and continuous quality improvement.

Essential Requirements
- Recognised degree in Physiotherapy.
- Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia through AHPRA, or eligibility to obtain registration before commencing practice.
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate, person-centred approach to aged care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Appropriate working rights in Australia.
