The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a significant reporting portfolio within an established organisation operating in a complex, regulated environment. You will join a lean and experienced finance team, giving you broad exposure across the organisation and the chance to make a visible contribution during a period of systems and reporting change.

The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will lead financial, statutory, management and regulatory reporting across a complex group structure. This is a hands-on role combining technical accounting and compliance with opportunities to improve reporting, controls and processes.
Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing annual statutory accounts and coordinating the external audit
- Managing month-end reporting, including reconciliations, journals and management accounts
- Overseeing tax compliance and regulatory reporting requirements
- Preparing financial analysis, cashflow forecasts and reporting for senior stakeholders
- Strengthening financial controls and supporting systems and reporting improvements
- Supporting and developing other members of the accounting team

About You
You will be CA or CPA qualified, with significant experience preparing audited statutory accounts and strong knowledge of financial reporting, corporate taxation and month-end processes. You will be comfortable working at a detailed level, resolving complex issues and taking ownership through to completion.





Experience within financial services or another regulated environment will be highly regarded, and auditors with relevant industry experience are also encouraged to apply. You will bring solid attention to detail, clear communication skills and a practical, improvement-focused approach.
