About the Role

This position offers a dynamic mix of responsibilities, combining on-the-floor duties with administrative tasks. You’ll enjoy variety in your day, working directly with our team and Young People. You will ensure the highest quality of care for young people in a trauma-informed, therapeutic environment.

This role is pivotal in supporting young people to thrive, while also fostering a positive and supportive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide leadership, supervision, and support to Youth Workers
- Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with Human Services Quality Standards and Child Protection Regulations
- Develop and maintain support plans for young people in collaboration with stakeholders
- Foster a home-like, safe, and nurturing environment
- Manage rosters and participate in the on-call roster
- Conduct performance management and staff development
- Build robust relationships with young people, their families,



and external stakeholders
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with all policies and procedures

About You

- Degree in Child, Youth & Family, Community Services, Disability, or related field (essential)
- Demonstrated leadership experience in the human services sector
- Strong understanding of Child Protection Act, Disability Services Act, and relevant standards
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Current Working with Children Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid & CPR, and Full QLD Driver’s Licence (essential)
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
