About Us
La Piazza is the heart of Italian dining in South West Sydney and one of the busiest and most vibrant restaurants within Bankstown Sports. Known for its lively atmosphere, authentic Italian flavours and high-volume service, La Piazza brings people together over great food, quality ingredients and genuine hospitality.
We’re looking for a talented Full-Time Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team and help deliver the quality and consistency our guests have come to expect.
About the Role
As Chef de Partie, you’ll take ownership of your section and play an important role in keeping our busy kitchen running smoothly. Working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, you’ll collaborate closely with the wider kitchen team to deliver quality food consistently, even during our busiest services.
Key responsibilities include:

Preparing and cooking dishes in line with established recipes and presentation standards
Running your section efficiently during service
Coordinating with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of meals
Maintaining high standards of quality, consistency and portion control
Maintaining food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
Contributing to a safe, positive and productive kitchen environment
Supporting the wider team during busy service periods

About You
You’re a passionate and reliable chef who takes pride in producing quality food and thrives in a busy kitchen.
To be successful,



you’ll bring:

2–3 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role
Relevant commercial cookery qualifications
Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment
Strong food preparation and kitchen operations knowledge
Sound understanding of food safety and HACCP principles
Strong organisation and time management skills
Ability to stay calm and perform under pressure
Great communication and teamwork
A professional, reliable and positive approach
Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
