The Role:
Working within a busy financial operations team, you will provide essential finance support, with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable, debtor management and reconciliations.
Your key responsibilities will include:

- Managing accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, receipting and payment allocations.
- Monitoring outstanding debtors, following up overdue accounts and assisting with debt recovery processes.
- Completing bank and debtor reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Processing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records across financial management systems.
- Responding to accounts receivable enquiries and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assisting with month-end processes, reporting and general financial administration.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or Finance Officer position, with a strong understanding of transactional finance processes.
You will also demonstrate:

- Robust experience across accounts receivable,



debt collection and reconciliations.
- High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate financial records.
- Confidence using financial management systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- A proactive, adaptable approach and willingness to hit the ground running.

Previous Queensland Government experience and exposure to systems such as SAP or TechnologyOne will be highly regarded.
