Graduate / Junior Structural Engineer | Brisbane

Our client is a leading nationwide commercial aquatic engineering consultancy based in Brisbane. They provide a full range of engineering, design, and documentation services to the commercial aquatic industry - specialising in reliable, efficient, and sustainable solutions for all forms of swimming pool and aquatic systems, from filtration system designs through to aquatic structures and applied finishes.

Using modern design and documentation practices including BIM integration, they work on a diverse portfolio of projects across Australia - from high-profile aquatic centres, theme parks, resorts, and high-rise developments through to residential pools, decks, and retaining wall structures.

About the Role

A rare opportunity for a Graduate or Junior Structural or Civil Engineer to join a small, specialist team on a full-time, permanent basis. Whether you are a recent graduate or an engineer with up to two to three years of post-graduate experience looking for a more interesting and varied environment - this role is worth a look.

This is not a generic graduate program. From day one you will be working on real projects alongside experienced engineers and drafters, with direct access to senior leadership and genuine mentorship throughout.

Key Responsibilities

- Contributing to structural design and documentation across commercial aquatic, residential pool, and retaining wall projects
- Working closely with the drafting team to produce technical drawing sets, schematics, P&IDs;, and CAD 3D models
- Supporting reinforcement design, structural calculations, and temporary works documentation
- Supporting design records, specifications,



and schedules across a diverse project portfolio
- Learning directly from experienced engineers across all phases of project delivery
- Completing all work in line with the business's quality, safety, and environmental standards

About You

- A Bachelor's Degree (or near completion) in Structural or Civil Engineering
- Up to two to three years of post-graduate experience - recent graduates strongly encouraged to apply
- Genuine interest in structural design across both commercial and residential project types
- Exposure to Revit or AutoCAD advantageous - proficiency highly regarded
- An architectural studies background or experience working closely with design teams is a strong plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative and team-oriented - comfortable asking questions and taking initiative
