Join a remote regional hospital in the heart of the Northern Territory and play a vital role in providing essential ultrasound services to the local community. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Sonographer looking to work autonomously while enjoying the benefits of a supported locum assignment in a culturally rich outback location.
The Role
As the Sole Sonographer, you will manage a varied caseload of approximately 6-8 patients per day, with a mix of general ultrasound and obstetric examinations. While the workload is manageable, candidates should be confident handling more complex presentations when required.
Operating within a supportive multidisciplinary environment, you will enjoy a high level of skilled autonomy while making a genuine impact on healthcare access in a remote community.

- Sole Sonographer position
- Monday to Friday roster
- Hours: 8:00am to 4:00pm/4:30pm
- On-call responsibilities required
- Approximately 6-8 scans per day
- Canon Aplio i700 ultrasound system
- Limited MSK workload

- Strong general ultrasound skills
- Obstetric scanning experience
