About the Role

Working in our Sydney Studio with a national team of design and delivery leaders within the Education space, you will play a key role in city-defining projects. We are looking for someone who prides themselves on design and delivery excellence for the following responsibilities:

- Partner with the project team to understand client needs, liaising directly with clients and contractors as required
- Contribute to the delivery of projects and project packages on time
- Ensure the project leader is informed of all technical or design aspects of the job to perform their role
- Recommend technical document production for projects
- Managing delivery of approved technical and design document production
- Execute the performance management process
- Role model Architectus culture and values
- Attend and provide valued input at management meetings
- Input and perform network development, knowledge management, employee mentoring, operational improvement and design review processes initiatives
- May lead a small team on selected projects end-to-end

About You





We look forward to welcoming a talented Senior Designer or Architect who possesses the following to join our team:

- 5+ years post-graduation experience
- Preference 3+ years of local experience required in a similar role
- Must be located in Sydney
- Competent Revit, 3D modelling (Rhino preferred) and Adobe skills
- Design communication skills to convey design concepts through imagery and diagrams
- Experienced in detailing, documentation and report writing skills
- Preference for experience on large-scale, complex public projects
- Competent knowledge and experience applying the requirements of the BCA/NCC and other relevant standards
- Design-focused, with a passion for developing outstanding architecture
