This is a fantastic opportunity to develop practical skills, gain industry experience and work towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Security Equipment, all while earning a wage and learning from experienced industry professionals.

About the Role
Working alongside experienced technicians, you'll gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of projects, including schools, hospitals and commercial facilities.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with the installation, testing and maintenance of electronic security systems, including CCTV, alarms and access control.
- Learning to install and connect security equipment such as control panels, detectors, cameras and card readers.
- Developing fault-finding and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Gaining exposure to emerging security technologies, including biometrics and integrated security solutions.
- working safely and professionally across a variety of environments and client sites.
- Building your technical knowledge and practical skills through on-the-job training and formal study.

About You
We're looking for someone who's curious, reliable and genuinely enthusiastic about building a career in the security and communications industry.
Ideally, you'll bring:

- A genuine interest in electronics, security systems, IT or emerging technologies.
- Robust problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn.
- A positive attitude, initiative and a solid work ethic.




- Good communication skills and a professional, personable approach.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness and a willingness to work on ladders and at heights.
- A current driver's licence.
- A Construction Induction White Card.
- Flexibility to travel throughout Victoria, including occasional overnight stays.
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check and obtain a Working with Children Check.

Open to applicants who have already commenced an apprenticeship in security systems or completed a pre-apprenticeship in Electrotechnology!
