Zoos Victoria operates four landmark zoos, Healesville Sanctuary, Kyabram Fauna Park, Melbourne Zoo and Werribee Open Range Zoo. As part of the Kyabram Fauna Park team, you will be responsible for ensuring the lawns, gardens and infrastructure are looking their best at all times. As an experienced maintenance person, you will have the mechanical aptitude to repair irrigation lines, apply chemicals and fertilisers where required and operate plant and equipment.

The ideal candidate will:

- Hold a relevant trade qualification and have experience in a similar environment

- Demonstrate the ability to effectively prioritise, coordinate and complete scheduled maintenance and work requests.

- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders.





- Have proven experience delivering preventative and programmed maintenance activities, supported by knowledge of asset management systems and maintenance planning processes.

- Demonstrate effective team leadership capabilities and the ability to contribute to a cooperative work environment.

- Be physically capable of performing the inherent requirements of the role. The successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment medical assessment.
