About the role

Talent International is recruiting an APS6 Senior HR Advisor with workforce planning capabilities for a Australian Government agency.

Your focus will be workforce reporting, people analytics, position management, organisational design and workforce planning. You will help establish these functions while supporting day-to-day HR activities and broader team priorities.

This role suits an experienced HR qualified with analytical strengths and an interest in developing their workforce reporting and data capability.

What you'll do

- Prepare workforce reports, dashboards and analysis for managers and executives.

- Maintain position and establishment data and support organisational design activities.

- Help develop reporting processes, data quality controls and workforce governance arrangements.

- Analyse workforce trends, risks and opportunities to support planning.

- Coordinate initiatives such as the APS Employee Census and associated action plans.

- Improve HR processes and support learning and development activities.

About you

You bring strong HR knowledge and experience preparing,



analysing or interpreting workforce information.

You will also have:

- An understanding of workforce reporting, planning, position management or organisational design.

- The ability to explain data and insights clearly to different audiences.

- Experience improving processes, systems or reporting arrangements.

- Strong stakeholder engagement and practical problem-solving skills.

- The ability to coordinate initiatives and manage competing priorities.

Experience with HR systems, reporting tools or data visualisation platforms would be advantageous. There is also scope to develop your capability in these areas.

Relevant tertiary qualifications are valued but are not essential.
