About the role

AAH Contracting is seeking an experienced Class A Asbestos Supervisor to join our team in a permanent full-time role across Melbourne. You will supervise Class A and Class B asbestos removal works, lead and coordinate asbestos removal crews on site, and ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme.

Key responsibilities

- Supervise Class A and Class B asbestos removal works
- Lead and coordinate asbestos removal crews on site
- Set up and manage asbestos removal areas, enclosures and decontamination facilities
- Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme
- Manage site documentation including ARCPs, SWMS, pre-starts and daily records
- Coordinate occupational hygienists, air monitoring and clearances
- Manage asbestos waste documentation and Waste Transport Certificates
- Liaise with clients, builders, project managers and other site stakeholders
- Conduct daily site checks and ensure compliance with PPE, RPE and removal requirements
- Work with AAH Operations, Project Management and HSEQ teams to resolve issues and keep projects moving

About you

- CPCCBC4051 Supervise Asbestos Removal




- Minimum 3 years' Class A asbestos removal experience
- Previous experience supervising asbestos removal crews
- Current asbestos medical
- Current respirator fit test
- Construction Industry White Card
- Current Victorian driver's licence
- Strong knowledge of asbestos removal controls, enclosures and decontamination
- Strong communication, leadership and paperwork skills
- Safety-focused and confident taking ownership of works on site
