DITCHFIELD has a solid history of project work delivering bulk earthworks, road construction, civil and mining infrastructure, subdivisions and contract mining projects for over 30 years. We're a well-established, self-performing business proud of its culture which has been built on team work, respect and integrity.

Due to the continued growth of the business we are looking for a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. This is a fulltime position based in our recent Tomago workshop working Monday to Friday.

ABOUT YOU

As a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic you will be responsible for servicing our light vehicle fleet. Duties will consist of:

- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles

- Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently across vehicle systems

- Ensure all repairs and maintenance meet industry and trade standards

- Assist Plant Mechanics with repairs to earthmoving equipment

- Identify, source, and order parts as required

- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area at all times





MANDATORY CRITERIA:

- Certificate of Proficiency in Automotive Mechanical Light Vehicle

- Minimum 5 years experience

- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently

- Minimum C Class Drivers Licence

- White Card

HIGHLY DESIRABLE:

- MDG25

- Forklift or Loader ticket

- Working at Heights Qualifications
