About the role

This is a full-time field-based role delivering a broad range of commercial and industrial electrical work across LGE's established client base. You will be part of a collaborative and experienced team, undertaking installation, maintenance, fault finding, and project work across a range of industries. You will be expected to work independently and as part of a team, delivering quality outcomes while upholding the company's high standards of safety, compliance, and service.

Key responsibilities

- Complete a range of electrical works including installation, maintenance, fault finding, preventative maintenance, repairs, and project delivery

- Perform all works in compliance with Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3000:2018) and relevant regulations, including ESV certification requirements

- Support, mentor, and guide apprentices and other staff, sharing knowledge and building team capability

- Liaise proactively with LGE supervisors and management, keeping them informed of job progress

- Maintain accurate and timely job records, including notes, time, and job status in the company's job management system (SimPRO)

- Deliver works within scope, on time, and within budget while maintaining safety and compliance

- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering a high level of service

- Participate in on-call roster and overtime as required

About you





- A current Victorian Electrical Licence (A-Grade)

- A current Victorian Driver's Licence (manual preferred)

- Commercial site maintenance and installation experience

- Preventative maintenance experience

- Strong working knowledge of AS/NZS 3000:2018

- The ability to work without supervision, resolve faults proactively, and adapt to changing priorities

- Willingness to work overtime and participate in an on-call roster

- Robust communication skills and a professional approach with clients

- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
