About the role
Just Automotive Recruitment is seeking an experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic for a workshop based in Newcastle (Sandgate), NSW. This hands-on role offers the prospect to work independently on a diverse range of vehicles while delivering high-quality servicing, diagnostics and repairs.
Duties
- Perform logbook servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs on a range of light vehicles.
- Diagnose faults and conduct repairs on brake, suspension and related systems.
- Complete vehicle inspections and identify maintenance requirements.
- Carry out wheel alignments and tyre-related services where required.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
Skills and experience
- Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic with at least 2 years post-apprenticeship experience.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage workshop responsibilities.
- Experience working across various vehicle makes and models
- Pink Slip inspection accreditation or willingness to obtain; wheel alignment experience highly regarded or training will be provided
