Sales Representative - NSW | Electrical & Industrial

Sicame Australia is looking for a Sales Representative to manage and grow its established NSW territory , working with electrical wholesalers, contractors, switchboard builders and commercial and industrial customers.

This isn't a territory you're building from zero.

You’ll inherit existing customers and relationships, with plenty of opportunity to strengthen those accounts, increase product penetration and develop new business across the broader NSW market.

What you’ll be doing:

This is a genuine field sales role. You’ll spend your time developing relationships, visiting customers and sites, solving problems and identifying opportunities to grow the territory.

- Manage and grow existing customer accounts across NSW
- Develop new relationships and business opportunities




- Work with electrical wholesalers, contractors and commercial and industrial customers
- Introduce recent products and identify opportunities to increase share of wallet
- Conduct product demonstrations, toolbox talks and customer training
- Visit customer sites and help solve product and application challenges
- Manage your call cycle, pipeline, forecasting and territory plan
- Represent Sicame at trade events, distributor days and industry functions

Who we’re looking for

We’re particularly interested in speaking with people who have sold into the electrical, industrial, construction or broader trade market .

You might currently be working for an electrical wholesaler, manufacturer, distributor or supplier and be ready to take ownership of a larger territory.

You don’t need to know every Sicame product on day one. Product and technical training will be provided.

What matters is that you:

- Understand relationship-based B2B sales
- Are comfortable dealing with clients at all levels
- Enjoy being on the road and in front of customers
- Can develop existing accounts as well as find new opportunities
- Are commercially minded, organised and self-motivated
- Are comfortable learning and discussing technical products

Experience with electrical cables, connectors accessories, switchboard builders, electrical contractors, LV/MV/HV products, connectors, cable accessories or tooling would be highly regarded, but isn’t essential for the right salesperson.
