Essence Mediacom in Cairns is seeking an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Hospital Liaison Officer to assess the needs of Indigenous patients and families, providing culturally appropriate intervention, problem solving and practical assistance within the hospital.

You will liaise between patients, families and staff to improve communication, advocate for patient needs, participate in discharge planning, and connect with community agencies to bridge service gaps and resources.
