Batemans Bay District Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a six-week contract from 5 October to 16 November 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a busy ED environment while working with a dedicated clinical team in a regional NSW setting. The role offers the chance to practise high-acuity nursing across a range of emergency presentations in a supportive healthcare setting.

- Six-week contract placement in a regional emergency department
- Hands-on experience across triage, resuscitation, and acute patient care
- Work alongside an established ED team in Batemans Bay, NSW

Preferred Requirements

- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification




- Demonstrated competence in emergency triage assessment
- Proficiency in cannulation and venepuncture techniques
- Experience with ventilation support and acute respiratory management
- Solid clinical judgment and the ability to work effectively in a quick-paced ED environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in emergency nursing
- Additional emergency-focused certifications (such as TNCC or ENCC) are advantageous
