About the Role

As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and producing high-quality meals in a large-scale commercial kitchen. Working to strict airline specifications and production schedules, you will play a key role in ensuring meals are delivered on time while maintaining the highest food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, cook,



and assemble meals according to airline specifications
- Follow standardised recipes and production schedules
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Portion, label, and package products accurately
- Meet daily production targets and flight deadlines
- Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Work effectively within a large production team

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Trade qualification as a Chef (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment
- Experience preparing Indian, Chinese/Asian, Western and Thai cuisine
- Strong understanding of food safety and HACCP principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Flexible availability across a rotating roster, including weekends
- Full working rights in Australia
