CGC Recruitment – Sydney Western Suburbs NSW

Senior Project Engineer - Marine Works | TfNSW Road Project | Western Sydney

Our client, a well-established civil contractor, is currently delivering a major TfNSW road project in Western Sydney and is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join the team on a temporary basis. This role is centred around managing a marine subcontractor, so senior-level subcontractor management experience is the key requirement we're looking for. Exposure to sheet piling and marine works will be highly regarded, but we understand candidates with direct marine experience can be hard to find. A strong track record managing subcontractors in a civil environment is what matters most.

The role:

- 3-6 month temporary assignment, ASAP start
- Based in Western Sydney
- Managing a marine subcontractor across scope, program and delivery

- Working alongside an experienced project team on a high-profile TfNSW road project

What you'll need:

- Proven experience managing subcontractors on civil infrastructure projects at a senior engineer level
- Marine experience and/or exposure to sheet piling highly regarded but not essential
- Solid communication and coordination skills, comfortable liaising directly with subcontractors
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience)

What's on offer:

- Immediate start on a major TfNSW road project
- Competitive daily rate
- Opportunity to work with a well-regarded civil contractor

CGC is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from all eligible candidates
