Kardinia International College is a leading K-12 co-educational, non-denominational, independent school located in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. With a student enrolment of approximately 2000, the College employs 330 permanent staff in addition to a large casual workforce.

The Senior School at Kardinia offers a vertical curriculum in Years 7-10 based on the Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) and both the IB Diploma Programme and the Victorian Certificate of Education in Years 11 and 12.

About the roles

We have several ongoing and fixed term full time positions available in our Senior School teaching team for 2027. We encourage both experienced and graduates to apply to join us next year.

?Science - Full time - Ongoing + Fixed Term

Our Science department is seeking a general Science teacher to join their team 2027. You bring your passion and knowledge of Science to teach our Science students from Years 7 to 12.

? Maths - Full time - Ongoing + Fixed Term

We would love to hear from any Senior Maths teachers for an ongoing role starting in 2027. You will be teaching Years 10 to 12 and have experience and passion for teaching VCE Mathematical Methods and or General Mathematics are preferred. Experience with IB Maths would be an advantage.

⚖️Humanities - VCE Legal Studies preferred - Full time - Ongoing + Fixed Term

Join our Humanities team as a VCE Legal Studies teacher for VCE and IB.



Your expertise in this area will inspire students to develop a deep understanding of the Victorian and Australian Legal system.

? English - Full time - Ongoing + Fixed Term

As an English Teacher at Kardinia, you will inspire students to develop strong skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing through a carefully sequenced curriculum. You will encourage critical thinking, analytical writing, and personal response to our Senior School students.

?PE - Full time - Ongoing + Fixed Term contract for Term 1 2027

Physical Education is taught from Years 7 to 12 through our vertical curriculum, includingVCE and IB.Your expertise will help students develop a strong understanding of Physical Education from a practical and theoretical perspective. Either join us for a Term 1 in 2027 or in a full time ongoing role position starting in 2027.

?? Art/Media - Fixed Term contract for 2027

Our Arts department are looking for someone to join them as their Arts - Media teacher in 2027. Experience teaching VCE and/or IB Film would be highly regarded.
