Simpatico People is partnering with a well-established Sydney electrical contractor to recruit a skilled and motivated A-Grade Electrician to join their team.

With a strong reputation for quality workmanship, reliability and customer service, our client delivers a diverse range of electrical services across Sydney, including residential installations, commercial projects, electrical maintenance, data installations, and specialised Level 2 ASP works.

The Opportunity

You'll be involved in a broad range of electrical projects, offering plenty of variety and the opportunity to develop your technical skills further.

Your responsibilities will include

- Carrying out electrical installations, maintenance, repairs and upgrades across residential and commercial properties.
- Installing and upgrading switchboards, circuits and associated electrical infrastructure.
- Fault-finding, testing and diagnosing electrical issues.
- Working on new builds, renovations and refurbishment projects.
- Assisting with Level 2 electrical works where appropriately qualified and authorised.
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to relevant Australian Standards.
- Maintaining a qualified approach when dealing with clients, builders and other trades.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is technically capable, reliable and takes genuine pride in delivering quality work.

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

- A current NSW Electrical Licence (unrestricted).




- Demonstrated experience across residential and/or commercial electrical installations and maintenance.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- A sound understanding of electrical safety, compliance and Australian Standards.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
- A current driver's licence.
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Highly regarded, but not essential:

- Level 2 ASP accreditation or previous exposure to Level 2 electrical works.
- Experience with switchboard upgrades, metering and power connections.
- Experience working directly with builders, developers and commercial clients.
