One of our Federal Government Clients is seeking to engage candidates for below roles

1. Role Details: Solution Architect - (EL1 Level)
2. Contract Duration: 08 months + 2X12 months (possible extension)
3. Work Location: All States (work 3 days from office and 2 days from home each week)
4. Eligibility: NV1 Security Clearance

Key duties and responsibilities Solution Architects will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- actively contribute to the review, development and/or sustainment of the agency’s application governance artefacts, including application strategies, architectures, technology roadmaps, policies, and practices.
- undertake targeted review of existing application deployments both on premise and in-cloud, including assessment of documentation, sustainability, and alignment with agency application governance.
- based on review findings, document identified issues, risks, and opportunities, together with associated actionable recommendations.
- working directly with IT, business areas, application development teams, provide insight and assistance with the scoping, costing, planning and delivery of recent application services.
- Ensuring relevant technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices (including security) are applied correctly and consistently.
- Evaluating requests for changes and deviations from specifications and recommending actions to delegates and governance bodies for endorsement/decision or other appropriate action.




- Working as part of an Agile project/program team or business as usual area as directed.

Performing other duties as directed from time-to-time by Directors/Team Leaders or a delegate. It is desirable Solution Architects have experience in:
- Enterprise Resource Planning
- ServiceNow
- Government ICT Transformations

Essential criteria 1.• Demonstrated experience (5+ years) working as a Solution (Application) Architect
- Proven experience designing applications and solutions for cloud environments.
- Proven experience designing and documenting applications that meet business requirements and align with the Department's strategic vision and operational constraints.
- Well-developed communication skills, including the ability to distil technical information in Plain English to communicate with influence.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, including the ability to translate clearly between technical teams and business areas.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to effectively manage risk and deliver fit-for-purpose applications and solutions.
