About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Apprentice to join our team on a full-time basis for either a 1st year or 2nd year apprentice

This is an excellent opportunity to begin your career or foster a move in the hair industry whilst gaining hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced professionals. You will be based at our salon in Lesmurdie, WA 6076, where you will learn valuable skills and become an integral part of our talented team.

What you'll be doing

- Assisting senior stylists with client consultations and understanding client requirements
- Learning fundamental hairdressing techniques including cutting, colouring, styling and blow-drying
- Preparing and maintaining workstations, tools and equipment to the highest hygiene standards
- Shampooing clients' hair and providing quality hair care services
- Assisting with salon reception duties, including greeting clients and managing bookings
- Learning about hair products, treatments and their applications
- Developing customer service skills and building positive relationships with clients
- Attending off-site training courses and theory modules as required by your apprenticeship programme
- Gaining practical experience across all areas of salon operations

What we're looking for





- School leavers or individuals with little to no prior experience in hairdressing
- A genuine passion for hair, and working with people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude towards learning
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene
- The ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions from senior staff
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Willingness to undertake formal training and complete both practical and theoretical components of your apprenticeship
- A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in the hair and beauty industry
