Position: Full-Time | Permanent

Location: Bake Central, Greenfields, Mandurah

Apprenticeship Duration: 3 Years

Qualification: Certificate III in Baking (FBP30521)

Our bakery operates across daytime and evening hours, with no overnight or very early morning starts. Shifts vary between 8 am and 11:30 pm, including weekends and public holidays.

What will your apprenticeship look like? You'll join our talented baking team at Bake Central in Greenfields, Mandurah, learning the skills and techniques behind our award-winning baked goods.

Your journey begins in our Bread, Savory or Cakes Department, where you'll learn the foundations of qualified baking, including working with dough, preparing ingredients and operating commercial bakery equipment.

As your skills and confidence grow, you'll have the opportunity to progress into our Savoury and Cake Departments, learning to create everything from delicious pies and pastries to tempting sweet treats!

Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll be supported by experienced bakers who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and helping you succeed.

Your work and study arrangements

We've structured our apprenticeship to give you the practical experience, formal training and support needed to succeed.

- Full-time, permanent employment.
- 4 days of practical, hands-on bakery training each week.
- 1 paid day per week dedicated to TAFE studies.
- TAFE course fees covered by Miami Bakehouse.
- A structured three-year apprenticeship.




- Upon successful completion, achieve your nationally recognised Certificate III in Baking.

What we're looking for No previous baking experience is required! We're looking for reliable, enthusiastic individuals who are keen to learn and ready to commit to a rewarding career.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

- A positive attitude and genuine willingness to learn.
- Good physical fitness and stamina. This is an active, hands-on role involving standing for extended periods, pushing large baking trays and trolleys, handling sacks of flour and ingredients, and moving around a busy production bakery.
- Reliability and commitment to completing a three-year apprenticeship.
- Good teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- A current driver's licence and reliable transport, as shifts may finish as late as 11:30 pm.
