APS6 Assistant Systems Administrator

- 12 month non-ongoing role, based in Canberra ACT
- Own the TechnologyOne finance system for a Commonwealth Agency
- $99,734 to $111,701 + 15.4% superannuation

About the company Our Federal Government client is looking for a Systems Administrator to join its Finance, Reporting and Operations Branch, which keeps the agency financially sound. The team runs financial operations, procurement, travel and finance systems, including TechnologyOne and Expense8.

About the role

You will manage the agency’s TechnologyOne FMIS day to day, keep system interfaces running and support staff through the finance system helpdesk. Expect a mix of system admin, reporting and process improvement, often working independently.

Duties

- Administer the TechnologyOne finance system day to day
- Manage daily interfaces with licensing and other systems
- Run the finance system helpdesk and train end users
- Build reports and deliver system fixes and enhancements
- Support month end and year end processes and reconciliations

Skills & experience

- Proven TechnologyOne FMIS administration experience




- Strong financial reporting and reconciliation skills
- Explicit communicator who works well with limited direction
- Tertiary accounting qualifications highly regarded
- Ability to obtain and hold a Baseline security clearance
