About the role

Reporting to the National Operations Manager, this is a hands-on, multi-site leadership role ensuring our aquatic facilities are safe, compliant and operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

- Conducting and analysing daily water quality testing and maintaining pool plant rooms.
- Ensuring compliance with GSPO, SA Health, and WHS requirements.
- Handling chemicals safely and keeping accurate records.
- Leading a team of lifeguards in supervision, incident response and training.
- Conducting venue checks for safety, cleanliness, and customer readiness.
- Providing professional and approachable customer service.

About you You’re technically minded, safety-focused, and comfortable working across multiple community pools. You enjoy variety, problem-solving, and working with people.





We are looking for a motivated individual willing to learn or develop their skills. No experience is necessary for a candidate with the right attitude and transferable skills.

Essential skills & qualifications:

- Pool Lifeguard Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Pool Plant Operator Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Provide First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain).
- Working With Children Check (WWCC) & National Police Clearance.
- Current driver’s licence.

Desirable:

- Experience in aquatic facility operations or similar technical role.
- Staff supervision or team leadership experience.
- Training in chemical handling or confined space awareness.
- Certificate IV in Leadership & Management, WHS, or Sport & Recreation.
