Tiro Industries is launching its own in-house Asphalt Division, and we’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Asphalter to help build and lead it.

This is a hands-on role, initially focused on small hand-laid asphalt jobs, patching and utility reinstatements, with the goal of growing into larger-scale asphalt works with bigger crews, plant and equipment.

We’re looking for someone who can bring their experience and industry knowledge to the table, helping us train our team, establish the right processes, source materials and equipment, and share the tips and tricks that come from years in the industry.

What We’re Looking For

- Robust hands-on asphalt experience
- Excellent hand-laying, finishing and pedestrian roller skills
- Good knowledge of road construction and asphalt specifications
- Ability to lead and train a small crew
- Knowledge of asphalt products, materials, suppliers and equipment
- Good industry contacts and relationships
- Access to or relationships with larger asphalt crews/resources would be highly regarded




- Someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to help build something long-term

Package: Negotiable salary + company vehicle, depending on experience, industry knowledge and what you can bring to the division.
