Role Description The Assistant Camp Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Kalgoorlie area supporting the effective operation of remote camp. This role involves assisting with day-to-day camp management, including supervision of camp staff, coordination of accommodation and catering services, and ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment.

The Assistant Camp

Manager helps oversee site logistics, monitors stock and supplies, and supports compliance with safety and operational procedures. The role also includes responding to resident and guest inquiries,



resolving issues promptly, and maintaining high standards of customer service. Collaboration with the Camp Manager, operations teams, and external suppliers is essential to ensure smooth camp operations and positive living conditions for all personnel.

Qualifications

- Supervisory skills to support team leadership, staff coordination, and performance oversight.
- Experience in camp or village operations, including accommodation, catering, and facility management.
- Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with residents, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Operations management capabilities, including planning, logistics coordination, and adherence to safety and quality procedures.
- Direct experience of remote or mining camp environments and associated health, safety, and wellbeing requirements.
- Ability to work on-site with flexibility to support the remote project needs.
- Proficiency in basic computer systems and reporting tools used for camp administration.
- Relevant experience in hospitality, facilities management, Current RSA and Approved Bar Managers card desirable
- Willing to get your hands dirty in the day-to-day workings of the camp in all areas. This isn't a desk job. You will be working hands on across the camp. Administration- Kitchen- Cleaning.
