This is a hands on leadership role where you'll work alongside the Store Manager to lead the team, drive sales performance, maintain operational excellence and create a safe, high performing culture.

What You'll Be Doing

- Supporting the Store Manager to deliver strong sales and commercial results.

- Leading and coaching team members to provide outstanding customer service.

- Driving team engagement, performance and accountability.

- Ensuring the store is well presented, fully stocked and operating efficiently.

- Assisting with rostering, recruitment, onboarding and team development.





- Building strong relationships with customers and creating repeat business.

- Championing safety, wellbeing and compliance within the store.

- Stepping into the Store Manager role when required and leading from the front.

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience in retail, trade, hardware or a similar customer focused environment.

- Proven leadership experience, or someone ready to take the next step into a leadership role.

- Strong commercial and sales acumen with the ability to drive results.

- A passion for coaching and developing people.

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

- A hands on leadership style and willingness to get involved wherever needed.

- Commitment to creating a protected and productive workplace.

- Knowledge of tools, hardware or industrial products is highly regarded but not essential.
