The Opportunity:

We are seeking skilled Auto Electricians to join a major mining operation in the Pilbara on a FIFO basis from Perth. You will deliver high-quality electrical preventative maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on autonomous and auxiliary mining fleets. If you enjoy tracking down complex electrical faults and want to keep heavy mobile equipment running safely and reliably, this is a outstanding opportunity to grow your career.

Key Responsibilities:

- Electrical work: Maintain and repair electrical systems on heavy earthmoving equipment, including CAT, Liebherr and Komatsu fleets.
- Diagnostics: Troubleshoot faults, carry out component replacements and ensure the electrical reliability of on-site fleets.
- Site support: Support planned shutdowns, servicing, breakdowns and diagnostic work as required.
- Documentation: Keep accurate service records and input work notifications in SAP for future planning.
- Safety and quality:



Work independently while maintaining high standards of work quality and strict adherence to site safety procedures.

About you:

- Australian recognised Auto Electrical Trade Qualification
- Current Air Conditioning (AC) System Servicing Licence
- HRWL (High Risk Work Licence)
- A valid C Class driver's licence and full working rights in Australia
- Experience as an Auto Electrician on heavy mobile equipment, ideally 5+ years within the mining industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring and components in heavy mobile equipment
- Proficiency with OEM diagnostic systems and software
- A sound understanding of hydraulic and mechanical principles to support minor repairs
- Familiarity with mining equipment and industry safety standards
- A growth mindset, initiative, curiosity and the confidence to raise issues and see them through to resolution
