This is a rare chance to shape a Positive Behaviour Support service from the ground up.

You'll have real influence over how the service looks, runs and grows. And you'll do it without billable-hour targets, so you can focus on quality outcomes for clients rather than chasing numbers.
The role
- Lead the establishment and growth of a new PBS service, including frameworks, processes and service delivery models
- Carry a lifespan caseload, from children through to adults
- Work in a hybrid model, across clinic-based sessions in Cannington and community visits
- Complete Functional Behaviour Assessments and develop comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans, interim and comprehensive
- Work with restrictive practices, including reduction and elimination strategies, in line with NDIS Commission requirements
- Collaborate closely with OT, Speech and Physio colleagues for truly integrated, client-centred support
- Build strong relationships with families, carers, support coordinators and support workers, and train them in how to carry out plans
- Provide clinical leadership and support the future growth of the PBS team
About you
- Considered suitable,
or eligible to be considered suitable, as a PBS Practitioner at the Advanced level under the NDIS PBS Capability Framework
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Behaviour Support, Allied Health or a related field
- Solid experience supporting people with complex behaviours, particularly autism, ADHD and developmental disabilities
- Confident with restrictive practice authorisation and reporting
- A neuro-affirming, person-centred approach
- Leadership capability, and the drive to build something from scratch
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check and a valid driver's licence with a reliable vehicle
What's on offer
- Salary up to $130,000, depending on experience
- No KPIs, so you can focus on clinical quality and service development
- Genuine leadership prospect, with autonomy to shape a new service
- Hybrid clinic and community model for variety and flexibility
- A supportive multidisciplinary team that values collaboration
- Professional development and ongoing supervision
- A team that values dignity, equity and independence for every client
Ready to build something meaningful? If you're an experienced PBS Practitioner ready to step into a leadership role and create a service that truly makes a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
