Expressions of Interest

Board Directors (Skills Based Pro-bono)

As one of four Regional Tourism Organisations in Tasmania, Visit Northern Tasmania (VNT) was incorporated in 2012 and is the critical link between industry and all levels of government. VNT’s purpose is to provide regional visitor economy leadership including industry development, providing regional content for inclusion in Tourism Tasmania destination marketing and being a referral point for industry into product and business development programs for State and Federal government.

With visitation growing steadily to Northern Tasmania, the VNT Board is seeking to appoint passionate, energetic, and skilled Directors to guide the future of the visitor economy of Northern Tasmania in 2027 and beyond.

Board Directors have the responsibility for governance and strategic oversight of the organisation and its role in positioning the region as a destination of choice, and to support and guide the CEO and VNT team in delivery of our strategic plan for the region.

VNT is jointly funded by Northern Councils, the Tasmanian State Government, and through partnerships with the northern tourism and business sectors.

For more information regarding the position please contact the Chair, Anthony Donald on 0404 485 or email ****@visitnorthtas.org.au

Formal Expressions of Interests close at 5.00pm Monday 26 October 2026.
