Coded Boilermaker / Welder

About the Position

Ready Resources is a leading maintenance and asset management provider supporting mining, energy, industrial and infrastructure projects across Australia. We specialise in connecting skilled trades with ongoing FIFO and metro opportunities, with a strong focus on safety, reliability and long term work.

We are currently seeking experienced Coded Boilermakers to join our client's fabrication and maintenance team, Monday - Friday in Henderson.

This role suits highly skilled coded welders who want to work across exotic materials, including Copper Nickel (CuNi) and Stainless Steel, on quality-critical work.

Role Responsibilities

- Fabricate, weld and repair to client-qualified Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
- Weld in 3G, 4G and 6G positions
- Weld exotic materials, including CuNi and Stainless Steel
- Read and interpret drawings, WPS documents and fabrication specifications
- Prepare materials, including cutting, grinding, fit-up and joint preparation




- Carry out visual quality checks and support NDT and inspection requirements
- Keep your work area clean and secure, and follow all site safety procedures

Skills & Experience Required

- Australian recognised trade qualification as a Boilermaker / Welder
- Evidence of welding competencies in line with ASME IX and/or AWS D1.1
- Coded in 3G, 4G and 6G positions
- Experience welding CuNi and Stainless Steel highly desirable
- Current tickets: Confined Space, Working at Heights, First Aid

This is long term, ongoing work with a well regarded client based at the Henderson docks. You’ll work Monday to Friday in a metro location with no FIFO, alongside an experienced team that values quality workmanship and safety.
