Key ingredients to ensure success in the role:

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, particularly isometric drawings, work orders, and production schedules to determine job requirements, product specifications, and work instructions.
- Inspect completed work for defects and use straightedges, templates, and measuring equipment to ensure compliance with required specifications and quality standards.
- Set up and safely operate hand and power tools, including welding equipment and oxy-fuel cutting equipment.
- Identify faulty equipment operations, defective materials, or products and promptly report issues to supervisors.
- Modify and repair steelwork damaged during transportation or installation, as well as rectify fabrication and detailing errors.
- Maintain a clean, organised,



and safe work environment by following workplace procedures, safety regulations, and company policies.

Essential Requirements for role:

- Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Minimum of 12 months’ continuous experience as a Fixed Plant Boilermaker, preferably within the mining or heavy industrial sector.
- Australian-recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification.
- Current Mask Fit Testing certification.
- Current White Card.
- Working at Heights certification.
- Current High-Risk Work Licence, where applicable.
- Confined Space certification.
- Gas Testing certification.
- Unlimited Australian working rights.
