Community Bus Driver | Wollongong RegionYour new companyA well-established community-focused organisation is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Community Bus Driver to support the transportation of passengers across multiple locations in the Wollongong and South West Sydney regions.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver who enjoys working with people and takes pride in providing a protected and positive transport experience.

Your new roleCommencing immediately, you will be responsible for operating an 18-seat accessible bus and safely transporting passengers between designated locations.Key responsibilities will include:

- Safely transporting passengers between sites across Wollongong and South West Sydney
- Operating a wheelchair-accessible vehicle and wheelchair hoist
- Assisting passengers when boarding and exiting the vehicle
- Conducting daily vehicle safety checks
- Recording mileage, fuel usage and vehicle documentation
- Refuelling the vehicle using a company fuel card
- Maintaining a clean, sanitised and presentable vehicle
- Providing a professional and friendly experience for passengers

This role operates Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00am to 4:00pm.

What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this role, you will need:

- A current Light Rigid (LR)



or Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence
- Current Bus Driver Authority
- Previous passenger transport or bus driving experience
- A current National Police Check
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A reliable and professional approach to work
- The ability to assist passengers with mobility requirements
- Full Australian working rights
