We are a family-owned funeral services group operating throughout 5 states and territories across regional Australia. Our growth has been previously managed internally, with now the size warranting a stand alone position.

What you'll own

- Our funeral management CRM system — configuration, data quality and business continuity
- The integrations between operational systems

- Reporting: building the weekly site pack, location reporting and the automated exception reports the business runs on.

- Infrastructure, connectivity and support across all sites, including the ones where the internet is a genuine constraint.

- User access, permissions and the systems register, including starters, movers and leavers.

- Systems migration and data consolidation each time we acquire a business.

- Websites, email and telephony across our brands.

You will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

What we're looking for

- Experience in operating systems in a multi-site business,



ideally one without a big IT department behind you.

- Robust integration and reporting capability.

- Pragmatism about infrastructure.

- Comfort working with people who are not technical. Our site teams are funeral directors, not system administrators, and whatever you build has to work for them.

- A willingness to travel to our locations (if required)

A note about the work

We look after families on the worst day of their lives. When a system fails at one of our locations, a funeral still has to happen that afternoon. That urgency is part of the job, and it is also what makes the work matter.
