Business Development Manager – Lean Manufacturing Solutions

Are you a commercially minded Lean Six Sigma professional who knows manufacturing and enjoys winning new business?

We're partnering with an established Australian business looking for a Business Development Manager to grow its manufacturing consulting offering.

You'll work with manufacturing businesses to identify operational challenges, build client relationships and sell Lean transformation and improvement solutions.

What you'll be doing:

- Developing current business and building relationships with manufacturing clients
- Identifying opportunities for Lean and operational improvement consulting
- Engaging with senior stakeholders to understand business challenges
- Scoping opportunities,



developing proposals and winning consulting work
- Growing the consulting offering and managing opportunities through the sales cycle

What we're looking for:

- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification — essential
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Experience in consultative sales, business development or winning consulting engagements
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial mindset with the ability to turn operational challenges into business opportunities
