About the role

As part of the Front of House team at Inhouse Kitchen, you'll play an important role in delivering the high standard of service our customers have come to expect. Inhouse Kitchen is a busy, well-established café located within The Home Interior in the heart of Nelson Bay, where we pride ourselves on delivering great food, exceptional coffee and friendly, professional service in a stylish and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

- Providing friendly, attentive and efficient customer service
- Preparing and serving consistently high-quality coffee and beverages
- Taking customer orders and processing payments
- Delivering food and beverages to tables
- Maintaining a clean, organised and professional café environment
- Working closely with our kitchen and management teams
- Helping ensure smooth service during busy periods

About you





- Previous experience working in a busy café or hospitality environment
- Strong barista skills, including milk texturing, espresso preparation and maintaining coffee consistency
- A friendly, confident and skilled approach to customer service
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliability, punctuality and attention to detail
- Availability to work a mix of weekdays and weekends
