Clinical Care Manager

As Clinical Care Manager, you will lead the delivery of safe, high-quality and person-centred residential aged care services, ensuring clinical excellence and compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and support the clinical and care team to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred and culturally appropriate care.
- Maintain robust clinical governance, ensuring policies, procedures and practices align with relevant legislation, regulations and aged care quality standards.
- Oversee clinical assessments, care planning, documentation, medication management and clinical risk management.
- Monitor care quality, identify areas for improvement and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Lead, mentor and develop team members,



fostering accountability, collaboration and a positive workplace culture.
- Manage workforce planning, staff performance, recruitment and other people management responsibilities.
- Support regulatory readiness, compliance activities and the implementation of evolving clinical and operational requirements.
- Work collaboratively with residents, families, staff and community stakeholders to promote positive outcomes.
- Participate in the clinical on-call roster and provide leadership and guidance when required.

Requirements:

- Relevant nursing qualifications and current AHPRA registration.
- Demonstrated experience in a clinical leadership or management role within residential aged care.
- Strong knowledge of clinical governance, aged care legislation, regulatory compliance and quality standards.
- Experience leading, mentoring and managing care teams.
- Well-developed HR, people management and performance management skills.
- The ability to lead clinical improvement, manage risk and maintain high standards of care.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.
- A genuine commitment to culturally safe, respectful and person-centred care.
- Experience supporting regulatory reviews, quality audits and organisational change will be highly regarded.
