· Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to understand construction requirements.
· Determine all materials needed for each job/project.
· Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed.
· Cut and shape building materials (e.g. steel, wood and fibreglass) according to specifications.
· Build window frames, doors, staircases, and buildings framed using raw materials or pre-constructed items.
· Lay out flooring and roofing.
· Inspect the site and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed.
· Build scaffolding and other construction structures.
· Assemble and fasten various materials to erect the framework.
· Install structures and fixtures.
Qualification: Certificate III or higher
Work Experience: 1 year
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000
Location: In Person
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
