We’re looking for a hands-on, organised and detail-focused Production Manager to help with the processing and pasteurisation of donated human breast milk at our milk bank.

This is a meaningful role where care, accuracy and hygiene matter every day. Previous experience in milk processing is preferred, but we also welcome applicants with relevant skills from food production, laboratory work, healthcare or other environments where strict procedures are followed. Full training in our milk bank processes will be provided.

About the role

You’ll help coordinate daily production and work directly with human breast milk, ensuring each batch is handled carefully and processed according to our established procedures.

Your responsibilities will include

- Receiving, checking, labelling milk.
- Preparing and pasteurising milk using established protocols.
- Operating, cleaning and caring for processing equipment.
- Completing temperature checks, production records and quality checks.
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Organising production schedules and supporting the team.
- Preparing samples for pathology results

About you We’re looking for someone who:





- Has excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Is reliable, practical and comfortable with hands-on work.
- Can follow written procedures accurately and maintain clear records.
- Understands the importance of hygiene, safety and traceability.
- Can work independently and communicate well within a small team.
- Is willing to learn and takes pride in doing things carefully.

Experience in pasteurisation, dairy or food manufacturing, quality assurance, laboratory work or healthcare would be highly regarded. Direct human milk bank experience is welcome but is not essential.
