The Role

Working Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, you will oversee daily kitchen operations and help ensure residents receive high-quality meals that meet their individual dietary needs.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

- Preparing and cooking fresh, nutritious meals in a busy kitchen environment.
- Managing bulk food preparation and production.
- Preparing texture-modified meals in accordance with residents’ dietary requirements and established standards.
- Delivering friendly, professional customer service to residents and clients.
- Working independently to organise daily kitchen operations and prioritise tasks.
- Maintaining high standards of food safety,



hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
- Supporting a positive dining experience through quality food and attentive service.

About You Desired Skills and Experience To Succeed In This Role, You Will Have

- A recognised trade qualification in commercial cookery.
- A current Food Safety Supervisor qualification.
- Experience in food preparation, bulk cooking and kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of texture-modified diets and the importance of meeting individual dietary requirements.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently, manage priorities and maintain high standards.
- A current National Police Check and the ability to meet the site’s flu vaccination requirements.
