The Opportunity

- Fyfe is seeking an experienced Civil Section Manager to join our Engineering team in Darwin.

As our Civil Section Manager, you'll lead and grow a talented team, strengthen client relationships and help drive the continued success of our civil engineering capability across the Northern Territory.

The Impact You'll Have

- Lead the delivery of complex civil engineering projects across road and infrastructure sectors.
- Drive technical excellence through design leadership, quality assurance and engineering best practice.
- Strengthen and expand relationships with clients, government agencies, councils, contractors and key stakeholders.
- Mentor, develop and inspire engineers, designers and graduates, building a high-performing and collaborative team culture.
- Contribute to business growth through client engagement, proposals, tenders and strategic business development activities.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards of quality, programme and commercial performance.

What You'll Bring

- A Civil Engineering qualification from a recognised tertiary institution.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.
- Demonstrated experience delivering road design and civil infrastructure projects.
- Proven success leading, mentoring and developing engineering teams.
- Strong technical expertise and the ability to provide trusted engineering advice.
- Established professional networks within the Northern Territory, particularly with DLI.




- Experience managing project scope, budgets, schedules and quality outcomes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and client relationship skills.
- Commercial awareness, including experience contributing to proposals, tenders and business development initiatives.
- A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
